The Arts for Nature Programme

Workshop

Description:
InTent collaborates regularly with companies, citizens, academia, public institutions and NGOs to explore how leaders can integrate nature and long-term thinking into decision-making. As part of this work, InTent contributed to the pilot edition of the Arts for Nature Programme, a closed-door initiative co-designed with INSEAD, IMD and LUMA with the contribution of Tour du Valat and the MITxLUMA Lab.

Despite rising awareness and global commitments, efforts to reverse nature’s decline remain too slow. Corporate action is often fragmented, focused on compliance rather than bold, positive impact – even as the weakening of natural systems threatens long-term business viability.

The Arts for Nature Programme invites leaders to imagine radically different, regenerative futures for business, nature, and society. This immersive journey blends the transformative power of the arts with world-class management thinking to spark new possibilities.

Programme:
Co-designed by INSEAD, IMD, InTent, and LUMA, with the contribution of Tour du Valat and the MIT x LUMA lab, the programme offers:

  • Experiential learning that fuses art, systems thinking and science
  • Future-back strategy design and immersive fieldwork
  • Inspiring leadership stories from pioneering change-makers
  • Long-term visioning with an intergenerational perspective

Programme directors:
Katell Le Goulven, Adjunct Professor of Strategy, INSEAD
Knut Haanaes, Professor of Strategy, IMD and Lundin Chair Professor of Sustainability

Our aspirations:
This experience is tailored for family business leaders ready to move beyond short-term fixes
and embrace a long-term, regenerative vision. We aim for every participant to leave with:
